Family volunteering abroad

We spent the best three weeks of our life with the orphans and Karlovo community! What started out as an idea for a European family vacation became a volunteer odyssey we will never forget. We helped preschool boys and girls learn to read and write in the mornings and then traveled the countryside in the afternoons. Sometimes we combined both and took groups of children hiking along the nearby Stryama River (the fabled roses were in bloom and smelled AMAZING). I'm grateful to Anton and FTO for letting us immerse in their Bulgarian community.
